Amongst the many attractions that London has is the London eye which is a catch; it looks like a giant Ferris wheel from afar. You can get a ticket over the internet for few extra pounds and save yourself queuing for the tickets. The tower bridge is another catch that shouldn’t be left behind in your itinerary.
Visit the official queen’s residence in August and September for free. Make a point of visiting Buckingham palace for the attractive parades every once in a while for free. The Trafalgar square’s four huge lion statutes are a sight to behold for art lovers. Because of the risk of infectious diseases in recent times, the officials have banned the feeding of the pigeons, so don’t bother carrying any thing to feed them. You can marvel at the sight of the birds on the square. The St Paul’s Cathedral is free for visitors. Architecture enthusiasts can marvel at the St Paul’s Cathedral inner beauty.
During the wars the English fought, their soldiers came back with treasures and most of them were preserved at the British museum. Marvel at the sight of the largest creature on the planet at the National History Museum, which has a model of the blue whale and some dinosaur. The blue whale is said to be as long as ten giraffes tied together end to end. If you cannot image the sight, then visit the National History Museum. The London Museum has a lot of artistic work from various masters of art. The Victoria and Albert Museum has artifacts that are more than 3000 years old and you will be amazed at the way they have been preserved. Do not forget to visit the parliament buildings and get a history of the legal process of the English people.
There are varieties of Restaurants and hotels in London you will be spilt for choice. The ones with good quality of food and services are lesser. For the fans of Japanese food, visit the Aaya Japanese restaurant in London for Japanese delicacies, including sushi. The L’anima, Italian Restaurant located behind Broad Gate is famous for its exotic Italian delicacies. The La Café Anglais is relatively cheap and spacious. The service is superb and the wide array of delicacies is perfect. Cha cha moon is the place to go for the cheap quality food.
Shopping enthusiasts can shop at Harrods. Shopping in London can be expensive but worth the venture for the quality of items.
